The Vivre Card confirmed that, as of now, Dracule Mihawk does not have Conqueror’s Haki. This has caused an uproar amongOne Piecefans as Mihawk holds one of the biggest titles in Eiichiro Oda’s world.
As fans know, Mihawk is the strongest swordsman in the world. He has held this title for the longest time, and despite there being an infinite number of swordsmen inOne Piece, no one has even come close to clutching away that title from him. Thus, him not having Conqueror’s Haki comes as a shock to the fans, as it hints that he does not have any kind of ambition in life.
However, there is still a chance that Oda might be waiting for the right moment to reveal Mihawk’s Conqueror’s Haki. His character development in the series has proved that he enjoys solitude, and this could very well become his ambition and give him a chance to finally showcase his Conqueror’s Haki to theOne Piecefans.
Dracule Mihawk Not Having Conqueror’s Haki Makes Sense
When Mihawk’s character was introduced inOne Piece, he was seen as an intimidating character who is extremely powerful, and there were very few other characters who could challenge him. Also, he held the title of the Strongest Swordsman in the World, which in itself is quite a difficult achievement, and to maintain it for so long is a problem on its own.

Although Mihawk doesn’t have any particular ambition as of now, there is a chance that he may develop one in the coming future. The narrative ofOne Piecehas taken a much more challenging route where other characters are getting ready for the final battle. With Mihawk being such an important character, he might also have to take part in the war and leave his lonesome time behind.
Thus, him wanting peace in his life could very well become the perfect motivator for his ambition, and it could bring out his ability to use Conqueror’s Haki.
Becoming the Pirate King is not the only ambition inOne Piece. There are many characters in the series who have different goals but still can use Conqueror’s Haki.
