It centers around Eve, and its story unfolds on a post-apocalyptic Earth. As she fights various creatures to rid the earth of these hostile forces, she meets a number of characters and loses a number of allies. The game promises a mix of narrative-driven exploration and fluid, detailed combat.

In his statement aboutStellar Blade, Kim explained how the game is made for its fans. He also specified who should play this game. He then talks about how developers have put a lot of things they love into this work, urging gamers to enjoy it to the fullest.
