Last month, a known leakerouted the price pointsof the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally handheld gaming devices. While the hardware maker hasn’t announced anything since then, it looks like an announcement is forthcoming, though it’s one that got leakedagain.
This time around, it’s ASUS itself that leaked the price, though accidentally.

ASUS Xbox ROG Ally Prices Got Leaked, And They’ll Break Your Wallet
The listing was spotted by Spanish site3djuegos, which managed to take a screenshot of the listing before it was taken down.
Set to arrive by the end of 2025, there are two versions of the ASUS-manufactured Xbox handhelds, which are the ROG Xbox Ally X, which will come equipped with a Ryzen Z2 Extreme chip, 24GB of RAM, capable of outputting at 1080p resolution, and offer 1TB of memory. The cheaper variant will offer 16GB of RAM and just 512GB of storage.
Of course, the big draw here is how the Xbox collaboration will see the Xbox user interface appear on the handheld, as well as centralized libraries from Xbox’s storefront, Game Pass, and other PC digital stores.
Thewebsite preview (which has since been taken down), reveals that the ROG Xbox Aly X will retail for a hefty899 euros(around$1,050in today’s conversion), while the cheaper version, the ROG Xbox Ally, will be sold for599 euros($699converted).

While the prices are not official, the fact that it showed up on ASUS’s website, although briefly, and how the previous leaked also had the same price, leads us to believe this is the final retail price point. Will we see it marked down (or up) a bit for the US market? That one is still a big question mark at this point.
There’s no release date set for both handhelds, though they are expected to be released before the year is over. Pre-orders are said to be kicking off in August. If so, don’t be surprised to see the handheld Xbox gaming device being shown off at Gamescom in Germany next month.
Hopefully, it won’t be as expensive in the US. With thespate of bad Xbox newsfilling the news circles recently, it’s about time Xbox fans have some good news.
