The game is the debut of a studio called Sandfall Interactive, which is based in France and will be published by Kepler Interactive.Expedition 33is set to release sometime in 2025 and will be available across platforms, including Xbox via Game Pass Day 1, PC, and PlayStation 5.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33has been described as a“reactive turn-based RPG”and will take players to the beautiful yet dangerous world of France’s Belle Époque. The Belle Époque is a period that is known for its breathtaking and amazing contributions to the art culture of the country.
The trailer for the game showcases a world that is under the control of someone called Paintress, who is shown to be repainting the world each year, with everyone of a certain age vanishing from the mortal world. Players will play as members of an expedition group called Expedition 33 and will go on a journey to end this cycle of death.

The game is developed using Unreal Engine 5 and aims to deliver“immersive real-time offensive and defensive commands to enhance combat”as well as focus on“powerful narrative experiences.”Fans are already hyped about the game and cannot wait to get their hands on it.
