Who Will Play Shriek?
The fictional character, Shriek, is set to make her cinematic debut this September whenVenom: Let There Be Carnagereleases. The character will be portrayed by English actress, Naomie Harris.
Many will know the Hollywood actress from films such as 28 Days Later, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, Skyfall, Southpaw, Moonlight, and many more.
Who Is Shriek?
Shriek is a fictional character from the Marvel Comic Books, her real name is Frances Louise Barrison and is often depicted as an enemy of Spider-Man.
She is not only the enemy of Spider-Man, but also known to be the lover of Cletus Kasady/Carnage.
Shriek is a mutant with various powers and abilities, most notably she has the ability to manipulate sound in different ways. She is able to use this power for destructive force and disorientate those around her.
This is not the only power that Shriek posses, however, she is also able to control the emotions of her enemies to induce fear and anxiety. You will notice when Shriek uses her powers as her scarred eye will begin to glow.
