This information comes a few months after industry insider Daniel Richtman first broke the news about Tena’s potential presence in a Marvel project through his Patreon handle (viaNexus Point News).

While many Marvel connoisseurs are wondering if Keen could also be part ofDeadpool 3, the article states that sources have indicated the possibility of the actor reprising her role in the film.

Deadpool 3has been creating major hype by making fans fervently speculate on which important characters from the Marvel franchise could be part of the narrative.The trailer of the filmwhich was released during Super Bowl Sunday with its official titleDeadpool and Wolverine, revealed the presence of a pivotal character from theX-Menfranchise.

While the trailer expectedly gave nothing away in terms of the story, hawk-eyed fans were treated to a fleeting glimpse ofX-Menvillain Pyro played by Aaron Stanford who was earlier part of 2003’sX2and 2006’sX-Men: The Last Stand.

The hot-headed mutant’s presence could indicate that he may be one of the members of The Resistance that Reynolds’ character could lock horns with in the film. But Stanford who returns to reprise the role, teased audiences a few days before the trailer drop by playing his cards close to his chest.

In an interview withThe Directduring the promotion of his new filmFinestkind, Stanford was asked if he would be interested in playing Pyro in the MCU. The actor was cleverly non-committal at the time and revealed nothing by saying,

“I’d have to think about it. You know, it’s a character that, I’ve been there and done that. I quite enjoyed it. And I still have many, many fond memories and a lot of lasting friendships from those experiences… I don’t know, man. It’s an intriguing question. I would have to consider it.”

While Pyro’s presence has already been confirmed through the trailer, the nature of his role has still not been elaborated upon by the franchise.

Deadpool and Wolverinewill be released in theaters on July 26th, 2024.
