Radical Highway contains the final two stages of Shadow’s campaign inSonic X Shadow Generations, and fittingly, it also has some of the hardest collectibles.

The Collection Box Keys here are about as hard as they get, asking you to scour the level and make some difficult maneuvers to acquire them.

Kingdom Valley is Shadow Generations' biggest stage, and this guide showcases all the keys in every act and challenge.

Luckily, there are onlytwo main acts and no challenge stagesunlike the rest of the levels in this game, and the hard challenges that beating the final boss unlocks don’t have any keys.

That said, these are still going to be quite a bit more challenging than all the previous keys, with all the well-hidden alternate routes.

You might expect this stage to have all the keys high up in the air and require your fancy pair of wings, but the first two are on the ground, and neither of which are in sections where the wings can even be used at all. The third is where it gets tricky, so let’s get into that.

Right at the start of the stage, jump on the spring, and boost into the small hole in the grate. After that, you’ll be sent on a route and put on a swing pole, just make sure to time it right and hit the blue part of the swing for your key.

Art Key #1

While you’re sliding down the massive sloped building, after hitting a checkpoint, you might notice a bit of building with Rainbow Rings to the right. Jump onto that platform, dodge the lasers, and hit the Rainbow Ring at the end to get sent onto a rail, where you’ll get your second key.

Art Key #2

This is the only one you need the wings for. When you get sent to a massive drop with an item box below you and a bridge underneath that, you’ll need to have your wings on, then fly forward and make sure not to lose height. The key is within a circle at the end, so you need to be right at the correct height and hit it, which can be kinda hard. If you mess up, hit the spring at the end of the bridge, go a little under the ring trail in front of you, fly backward, and hope.

Sonic X Shadow Generations: Every Collection Box Key Location in Sunset Heights

If you’re stuck looking for your keys for collectibles in Sunset Heights, this Shadow Generations guide is here to help.

Radical Highway is the onlystage in the game to have two fully 3D acts, which means you don’t get the typical benefit of more straightforward key scavenging.

PC-1

I do think Act 2 is generally more straightforward than the first, but these keys don’t pull their punches and still took me forever to find.

A while into the stage, after fighting the first miniboss, don’t take the upper route on top of the floating pieces of road. Instead, get onto the bottom part of the floating roads, and get to the second spinning piece. Wait till it flips over, and you’ll find your key waiting for you.

PlayStation-1

While you’re on the weird autorunning tube segment, you’ll go around the corner, so position yourself at the bottom right segment. You’ll have to quickly jump across a gap, grab the key, then jump again to keep it. This is a one-time thing, and you can’t go back, though, so if you mess up, you have to fall out of the world on purpose.

This one is a bit tricky, and you will need the wings again. When you hit a checkpoint just before a spring that leads to 10 rings and a ring capsule, you’ll be sent onto a bunch of rotating pieces of road. Get on the rightmost one, then use your wings to fly straight forward onto the path in front of you, where you’ll find your final key.
