Dragon Ball DAIMAis all the rage currently and for the right reasons. With a riveting storyline and stunning visuals, it is a heartrending tribute to the franchise. But what makes it even better is its concept and plot as a whole.

From Goku’s mini form to his power pole, the series is reminiscent of the original 1986 anime. It does, however, take the franchise to a whole new level with its recent episodes.
Goku’s fight against the Tamagami in the recent episode will be nothing short of iconic. This holds especially true with the Saiyan Prince Vegeta’s role in the upcoming episodes.

This theory foreshadows the character’s pivotal role in the fight and would eventually dispel the “disrespect” projected toward the character as some fans pointed out previously.

Dragon Ball DAIMAis often compared to GT because of its trope of small Goku. And while it does reflect a similitude, both are poles apart. Compared to GT, the series has a lot to offer in terms of its enthralling plot and characters.
Its treatment of the side characters along with worldbuilding is what sets it apart. The series offers new lore and ideas which can be built upon in future projects. But that is not all considering the plot development and the course of the storyline.

In previous episodes, we witnessed Goku’s struggle with his mini form. The constraints are pitfalls with his tiny form are evident and this holds with his dependency on the power pole.
But what’s truly refreshing is the joint efforts of Kaioshin and Glorio. It is not long beforeVegetareunites with the Saiyan in an epic comeback and this theory proves the Saiyan prince’s pivotal role in future episodes.

Dragon Ball DAIMA’s Fatal Flaw May be Relying Too Much on Akira Toriyama’s Old Ideas
It took long for Bulma and the party to arrive in the Demon realm. For almost seven episodes, we witnessed Goku’s struggle to fight different foes. With the Saiyan prince’s arrival, the powerful duo might incapacitate Tamagami in the next episode.
It would balance out their weaknesses and constraints considering their joint efforts. Additionally, the anime is lauded for its diverse and vibrant range of side characters and it peaks in spotlighting the side characters’ pivotal role in the plot as a whole.

DAIMAand its vibrant yet diverse side characters
One thing thatDAIMAdoes best is its preferential treatment ofside characters. The side characters aren’t sidelined in the series as opposed to the previous ones. There’s depth and complexities within most side characters including Glorio and Panzy.
While Panzy might seem like a proxy character trying to fill in for Bulma’s position, it is quite the opposite. Her identity and backstory might have some unsettling details that the anime is yet to charter. But we have barely scratched the surface with his one.
Apart from Panzy, the anime also has some ambiguous characters including Glorio. His actions and motives are conspicuous in the recent chapters. This ties well with hisdealings with Dr Arinsu.
Overall, his role including his motives and ideals make him a greyscale character. While he is associated with Arinsu, he might be a part of the bigger picture in the end. For all we know the series is yet to charter both characters’ backstories.
The Biggest Complain Fans Have with Dragon Ball DAIMA Might Also be the Most Important Part of the Anime
As for the Saiyan Prince, his reunion with Goku would be nothing short of legendary. Like Panzy and Glorio, the anime might give the character his spotlight moment. To say the least, Episode 8 is much anticipated by both readers and viewers.
Dragon Ball DAIMAis available for streaming on Netflix.
