Summer Game Fest had a ton of excellent reveals, but perhaps one of the most bizarre trailers belonged toSkate, the upcoming Electronic Arts, commonly known as EA, game about, well, skating.

Mostly, EA has changed itsSkate-related socials to M-Corp, the company responsible for bringing hope and success to the fictional city of San Vansterdam. The true bizarre nature of the trailer is evident as soon as its documentary-style preview, similar to that ofThe Office, starts.
EA Gives an Update on Skate in the Most Unconventional Way Imaginable
The video starts in an office space, documenting the state of the workplace and how it promises to bring success to the city of San Vansterdam. The humorous trailer is filled to the brim with well-timed sarcasm, particularly about the office’s workplace.
Rumors have been going around about M-Corp’s toxic work environment, and Tim Robinson, who you may know fromSaturday Night Live, is here to assure you that these are all false. Meanwhile, in the background, we can see employees acting miserable while also disposing of sensitive information.

There have reportedly been rumors that M-Corp is leaving the town, but Robinson confirms that these are just rumors and asks a very serious question: “Why would we hurt a town that rules?”
Certainly a humorous skit atSummer Game Fest, it also feeds a bit into the game’s story. As indicated by screens around town during gameplay, M-Corp has, in fact, left the town, leaving it all up to the skaters. The game looks chaotic, and if its humor seeps into the gameplay, it’ll be an absolute treat to play.

Comments on the video range from confused to hilarious to downright epic. One such user even stated, “M-Corp seems like an amazing company to work for.”It’s clear that fans of the series, and even newcomers, are loving EA’s approach to this.
The Insane Trailer Also Showcased a Bit of the Game
Environments look colorful and seem to have different elevated areas to them, which would make for unique situations to skate over.

There’s not much we see, other than a bunch of skaters doing some really cool tricks, but we did get confirmation that the game will have a console playtesting period.
In fact, you can go over to the game’s official website to register for it right now. The earlier you do, the higher the chance that you’ll get access to it. Playtesting will be coming this fall, so it’s best to prepare yourself beforehand.
