Sylvester Stallone dabbled into reality TV the past year with his showThe Family Stallone. The show was a hit with his fans and a second season is scheduled to be released in February 2024.
When Stallone announced that he was venturing into reality TV, many questioned his motives and some assumed that the actor was doing the show for monetary gain. However, the actor dismissed the ideas and had an interesting answer about why he decided to show audiences a side of him that they hadn’t seen before.

Sylvester Stallone‘s Paramount+ showThe Family Stallonepeeled back the layers of the actor that audiences have come to know over the years. The show presented the real Stallone, the family man who took care of his three daughters while maintaining a successful family life with his wife Jennifer Flavin.
In an interview withSirius XM, the actor revealed that not all people were enthusiastic about him doing a reality show, with some assuming that he was financially broke. However, despite feeling moronic at times, his main goal was to show the pure love and respect that he has for his family. He wanted to let audiences know more about the real Stallone and how he functions as the patriarch of the family. He said,
“People go, ‘Why are you doing it, man? Have you hit bottom?’ I go, ‘No, you fool.’ I’m doing it because I love them and this is the ultimate home movie. I don’t want to do it when I’m at the bottom. We’re definitely not doing it for the money, we’re doing it for the companionship. And I want you to see how crazy it is living with all females. The girls come out fantastic, I come out as a moron,”
Audiences embraced the show and praised the familial dynamics within the family. The show will return with a second season on July 26, 2025 on Paramount+.

Sylvester Stallone Is Returning With The Reboot of 1993’sCliffhanger
Sylvester Stallone’s 1993 filmCliffhangerwas a big hit in 1993 and has since aged well with time. Now Stallone is set to reprise his role of Gabe Walker in a reboot of the film. As put byVariety, the film will be directed byGreenlanddirector Ric Roman Waugh.
The director released a statement expressing his love for the original film while also promising to provide audiences with another thrilling experience with the new film. He said,
“Growing up with the biggest action films of the ’80s and ’90s, working on many of them myself, Cliffhanger was by far one of my favorite spectacles.To be at the helm of the next chapter, scaling the Italian Alps with the legend himself, Sylvester Stallone is a dream come true. It’s going to be a great challenge and blast taking this franchise to new heights, a responsibility I don’t take lightly.”
