Following this news, many people have raised their eyebrows at this decision and have surprisingly shown their support for it. Superman has been such a crucial part of pop culture and comic book culture for more than eight decades at this point everyone, young or old, knows who Clark Kent is and how he became the Symbol of Hope that we have come to know and love.

Thus, reimagining his origin story yet again would seem so repetitious that it might just become boring for the audience and, thus, create a disconnection between them and the superhero in the film.
How Do The Fans React To This?
While many assumed that this decision would create quite an uproar among the die-hard fans of Superman and comic books, it seems like most are on board with this idea and supporting Gunn’s radical choice.
