2022’s Warhammer Skulls Showcase outlined a veritable treasure trove of upcoming releases for Warhammer fans to salivate over for the next year and beyond. But among the most hotly anticipated of them is Fatshark’s Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. For those out of the loop, it’s Fatshark’sWarhammer 40,000-flavored spin on the Vermintide series. For the completely uninitiated, think along the lines of Left 4 Dead or Back 4 Blood set in the Warhammer universe and you’ll be in the ballpark.
While Darktide’s slot in the Showcase was short and sweet, it did furnish us with a shiny new trailer. We’re treated to a few sweeping vistas of hive city Tertium (the narrating Inquisitor’s home turf, as we’re told), the streets and gutters of which our ragtag bunch of heroic Imperial misfits will undoubtedly be purging of Chaos filth. Speaking of, we get a few glimpses of our motley crew in the thick of it, including some spectacular action shots of the warp-powered Psyker class zapping a Chaos-aligned Ogryn.

Also of note are the two pre-order editions of Darktide currently available for purchase via Steam and the Windows Store.
Pre-Ordering Warhammer 40,000 Darktide ($39.99 USD onSteamor theWindows Store) gets you:
