A former employee has accused WWE founder Vince McMahon of sx trafficking.Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, sued McMahon and alleged that when he was the CEO of the wrestling entertainment company, he abused and sxually exploited her.

The suit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. Grant said in the lawsuit that she was the victim of physical and emotional abuse, sxual assault, and trfficking at WWE. Apart from McMahon, the lawsuit names WWE as defendants and its former head of talent relations and general manager, John Laurinaitis.

Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, has filed a lawsuit accusing WWE bossVince McMahonof sxually abusing her and trfficking her to other men in the company.The Wall Street Journalfirst reported the news.

Thelawsuit, filed Thursday in a Connecticut federal court, also alleged that McMahon pushed her for a s*xual relationship in exchange for the job, and soon “greeted her in his underwear, touched her, repeatedly asked for hugs, and spent hours sharing intimate details about his personal life.”

“When McMahon pushed Ms. Grant for a physical relationship in return for long-promised employment at WWE, she felt trapped in an impossible situation: submitting to McMahon’s sexual demands or facing ruin,”the lawsuit says.

Grant alleged that her tenure at WWE ultimately came to an end because McMahon’s wife Linda discovered the affair. Grant signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement with the promise of a $3 million payment, of which she claims she has received $1 million.

Grant’s lawyer, Ann Callis, in a statement, said,

“Today’s complaint seeks to hold accountable two WWE executives who sexually assaulted and trafficked Plaintiff Janel Grant, as well as the organization that facilitated or turned a blind eye to the abuse and then swept it under the rug.” (ViaCNBC)

A spokesman for McMahon said,

″This lawsuit is replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred and a vindictive distortion of the truth.”

“He will vigorously defend himself,” the spokesman said.

McMahon stepped down as WWE’s CEO in June 2022 amid an investigation by the company’s board into alleged hush-money payments to women who accused him of s*xual misconduct. McMahon returned to the company in January 2023 as executive chairman.

Who is Janel Grant?

As per the lawsuit, former WWE employee Janel Grant was hired by McMahon in 2019 as an administrator-coordinator in WWE’s legal department. And she was terminated when McMahon’s wife found out about the affair.

The lawsuit says that McMahon lived in the same building as Grant and in 2019 offered to get her a job at WWE after her parents died.

Grant also alleges that she became McMahon’s sxual toy and that he and others, including Laurinaitis, had unwanted sx with her at times, including th*eesomes.

“Behind a locked door, the two men cornered her and pulled her in between them, forcibly touched her, before ultimately putting her on top of a table in between them,”the complaint stated.“She begged them to stop, but they forced themselves on her, each taking turns restraining her for the other.”

This is not the first time that McMahon was alleged in such cases. Also, this claim by Grant brings the darker side of the wrestling entertainment industry.
