WhileVampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2was announced by Paradox Interactive in March, this new title is an entirely separate game. TwoVampire: The Masqueradegames being announced so close to each other comes as a surprise, especially considering that the last full-fledged entry came in the form of 2004’sVampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines.Since then, we only saw a piece of choose-your-own-adventure interactive fiction for PC and mobile devices in 2017—Vampire The Masquerade: We Eat Blood. That being said, these two new games show Paradox’s dedication to bringingWhite Wolf’s TTRPGsinto video game form.

The story will be “reactive,” leaving how well the world becomes familiar with the existence of vampires up to the player.Bloodlines 2will be first-person and melee driven, placing an emphasis on fast-paced combat and the ability to stalk your prey as only a vampire can.
