We have squeezed literally every ounce of everything we could get out of UE4, so now we make the move to UE5 and it is not an easy feat when your game is a live service game.

Donlon noted that the transition will not be easy, but it is necessary. Unreal Engine 5 is not only the latest version, but it will also allow developers at Riot Games to experiment with new ideas.
