Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, theBorderlandsspin-off title released in 2022, is getting a comic book tie-in series titled ‘Land of the Giants’ later this year, asreported by our sister site GameRant.
While Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a spin-off from the popular Borderlands series, it also serves as a direct sequel to Borderlands 2’s DLC expansion, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, which was released in 2013 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. It wasreported back in 2023that a potential sequel to Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands was rumoured to be in development, but it looks like the comic book tie-in is set to hit shelves before fans get to jump into a sequel.

Volume 1 of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Land of the Giants is set to hit shelves on June 16, 2025 and will be written by Paul Tobin and illustrated by Luisa Russo. Tobin is a well-known veteran in the world of comic books, having worked on Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four, Marvel Adventures Super Heroes, Marvel Adventures Spider-Man, and many more.
Tobin’s skills don’t just lie in superhero comics either, as the famed writer has worked on multiple gaming tie-in comics including The Witcher, Plants vs. Zombies, and Angry Birds.
According to GameRant, Tiny Tina and a handful of other established characters will be making their return in this comic book tie-in, along with a plethora of new characters who “commit heinous acts of awesomeness” as they attempt to track a giant known as Hilly the Kid. All of the returning and new characters will be illustrated by Luisa Russo, a long-time collaborator with Land of the Giant publisher Dark Horse Comics. Russo has worked on multiple tie-in comics in the past, such as Disney’s Frozen and Plants vs. Zombies.
Land of the Giants will have a total of 3 volumes, with the first set to be released this summer. There’s, sadly, no confirmed release date for the remaining two issues, but Dark Horse Comics has confirmed that the very first issue will be priced at $3.99. While not confirmed, the remaining two issues will likely be priced similarly.
