In March of 2023, a video was posted online of an AI version of Will Smith eating spaghetti in a very peculiar and unsettling manner. The video was extremely poor quality, so not thinking too much into it, it became a meme and fans loved recreating it.
The video became so iconic that recently, Smith posted a video of himself onInstagrameating spaghetti just like his AI version, having fun while doing it. Unfortunately, his revival of the meme resulted in fans giving AI another chance to make a video of Smith eating spaghetti. This time was a lot different.

Artificial Intelligence has been developing and getting better rapidly. So much so that the world has become terrified of what will become of this in a few years. The Will Smith spaghetti video was just another glaring reminder of the imminent power that technology could hold. On top of this, the video showcased some horrifying imagery for fans of the actor.

Many talked about how the video was extremely disturbing, seeming to be right out of someone’s nightmare. There is a brief second in the clip where the actor’s face becomes seriously distorted. Some commented that that moment was the most terrifying out of the entire unsettling video. There are even moments where Smith seems to be getting consumed by spaghetti himself.
