Check out this amazing cosplayer as she slips inside the shoes of the Machine Hunter, Aloy.
Initially, it looked like 2021âs gaming year was pretty stacked with the likes ofHorizon Forbidden WestandGod of War: Ragnarokbarging in to warm our souls as the weather cooled. Unfortunately, and obvious to many, both games have been given the cold shoulder withHFWbeing pushed back until July 10, 2025.

Thankfully, we have plenty to keep us occupied until then (have you looked at your backlog lately?) and if it means that ultimately we will get a more polished title with fewer bugs, we can ride out the remainder of the year with ease whilst praying COVID plays its part.
To keep us company until we eventually get our grubby mitts on the long-awaitedHorizon Forbidden West, cosplayer opal_inkcosplay comes in with a stunning Aloy outfit that would brighten the darkest of times.

“I fought my way past an army while you cowered in this cave, do you really think you can stop me?!” - Aloy
You may recognise opal_inkcosplay otherwise known as Abi. One of her many talents is the ability to slip inside the persona of many gaming characters that includes her infamous Atreus cosplay fromGod of War. Not only does Abi have the skill to make any character her own, but she also does so with incredible passion and knowledge.
Hot on the heels of winning Best Costume at MCMComicCon in Birmingham, Abi shares on social media her award-winning cosplay of Aloy fromHorizon Zero Dawn.
Itâs obvious Abi has put countless hours into this particular costume, making sure every detail stands out including the rich material used. You can also see that she is holding Aloyâs Hunterâs bow which Iâm sure took hours if not days to painstakingly perfect.
