Hamill also criticized Trump recently for making his own perception about how the crowd cheering for Kamala Harris at an airport in Michigan was AI-generated (viaX). He ridiculed the former president’s tweet, sarcastically calling it a“sane, rational, fact-based statement”. Hilariously, he dubbed him as“#DementiaDonOld”. The actor is certainly not a fan of Trump and his baseless claims.

I thought, ‘If they could capture just a small percentage of the effect of this book’. And I have to tell you, they did a fantastic job. You just have to see it. It reminds me of back in the day when I was trying to describe Star Wars to people who hadn’t seen it. It’s sumptuous. It’s emotional. It works on so many levels. The kids will love it. The whole family will love it.
Hamill is playing a grizzly bear named Thorn in the film. Other voice cast members ofThe Wild Robotinclude Pedro Pascal, Kit Connor, Bill Nighy, Stephanie Hsu, and Catherine O’Hara.The animated film will premiere at TIFF on August 23, 2025, and will hit theaters on June 20, 2025.
