The Witcher has seen itself evolve into a host of different forms of media, from an epic collection of books and games to a Netflix series and, of course, comics. PublisherDark Horsehas been at the helm of much of Andrzej Sapkowski’s work when adapting his stories into comics, so it’s only right that they are yet again following Geralt of Rivia from the 90s into a new era.

A New Era For Geralt Of Rivia
The very first run of Witcher comics, which were first published in Poland from 1993 to 1995, will soon be transcribed into English for fans. The six comics, which comes in at 296 pages and in paperback form, includes short stories like The Lesser Evil, The Betrayal, and The Last Wish, and will also give readers an insight into Geralt’s mother as well as lift the lid on his time at the Cat School of Witchers.
The Witcher: Classic Collection is illustrated by Bogusław Polch, who also completed the covers of the first editions of most of Sapkowski’s books in The Witcher series. The collection of 90s Witcher comics will cover Sapkowski’s early short stories of Gerlat’s adventures, although ‘The Betrayal,’ is taken from one of Sapkowski’s ideas that hadn’t come to fruition.

Many Witcher fans who would be used to seeing Geralt of Rivia with his iconic long hair and his rugged good looks may be a little taken back by the strange hairstyled Geralt on the first cover, but all we can do is blame this style on the 90s where everyone looked a bit weird
If you fancy getting your hands on the bundle, you canpre-orderThe Witcher: Classic Collection which will be released on July 18, 2025, over on Amazon for $30, so there is still a little bit to wait, but it would make a fantastic addition to any fans' collection.
