There is a chance that CD Projekt RED releases a surprise update to the game, though the chances of that are very slim. That said, with the fleshed out expansions, supplementing the content-packed main game, CDPR seems to have told all the Geralt stories they have in mind, which is why it’s also not surprising that Ciri will be the protagonist inThe Witcher 4. Don’t expect the next The Witcher game to be released this year or even next year.The earliest it’ll be released is2027, and even then, that’s not guaranteed given CDPR’s penchant for delaying its games.
