The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinnersis receiving a new instalment entitled Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners - Chapter 2: Retribution on August 17, 2025. DeveloperSkydance Interactivefirst revealed this release date during the Meta Connect 2022 conference that occurred on October 11. It will be released for both Meta Quest 2 and PlayStation VR.
The exclusive gameplay demo that was released byGameSpotback in September shows that there is an added light system in how players use light to deal with zombies at night in the game with the inclusion of flairs. On top of that, the New Orleans area will be expanded upon. The game will also remove players from the first chapter’s setting in the suburbs and will instead throw enemies deep into the zombie-infested city of New Orleans.
The way in which players handle combat options will still allow players to choose whether they go in aggressively into situations or allow them to decide to sneak by enemies. Chapter 2 is adding plenty of different weapons and weapon attachments such as the laser sight that players will be able to use.

Players can expect the return of the different survival systems that made the first game so enjoyable, to begin with. The stamina mechanic will continue to be implemented in the game, and the three-dimensional sound design lets players hear when walkers are heading toward them. If a player, on the other hand, is being too noisy then that will attract large groups of walkers to the player’s location.
The first game set a lot of choices into play for the players to have to make that included both how they dispatch different zombie threats and how they take on different situations that the game presents the player with such as choosing to kill or spare other characters. From the reveal trailer that was presented showing off some Saints and Sinners' second chapter, it looks like the combat options are going to get a lot broader.
