The Rings of Power premiered last week with the first two episodes that got us awe-struck with their spectacular visuals, music, and of course, the story. We go back to the second age of Middle Earth and meet some familiar characters from theLord of the Ringsseries, including Galadriel and Elrond.

Galadriel - after losing his brother in a war against Sauron - refuses to go to Valinor, so she can continue her search for the dark lord. The first two episodes gave us a good idea that Season 1 will focus on the hunt for Sauron, who’s currently making his Orcs' army even stronger by staying in hiding. Most Elves believe that the dark lord has fallen, but there are some who know that Sauron isn’t dead; in fact, he’s growing in power, so he can engulf the world in darkness.

So far, we have only heard about Sauron in the series, and the community is eager to see him on the screen. Also, at the end of the second episode, we see a mysterious person coming to Galadriel’s rescue in the unforgiving sea. We don’t know if this person is an enemy or foe, and there’s a chance that it’s a character we might have seen or heard of in the Lord of the Rings series. Anyway, Episode 3 of the Rings of Power is only a few hours away, so we will get our answers soon.
