GTA 6has been a long time coming, with fans of the franchise waiting over a decade since the releaseof GTA 5to learn more about the game. Although Rockstar gave us a trailer for the title last year, it hasn’t revealed much since.

Gamers are growing desperate for more information, but Rockstar isn’t revealing much. However, that won’t be the case for CD Projekt Red’sThe Witcher 4, as the studio has a perfect marketing plan in the works that will satisfy gamers in every possible way.
The Witcher 4‘s Reveals Will Satisfy The Appetite of Gamers
Usually, CD Projekt likes to stay transparent about every game it’s working on. However, after the disaster ofCyberpunk 2077,the studio plans to approachThe Witcher 4in a different way.
While chatting withEurogamer, CD Projekt Red’s joint CEO, Michal Nowakowski, opened up about the studio’s strategy withCyberpunk 2077‘s marketing. Learning from its mistakes, the studio wants to have shorter marketing cycles.

For The Witcher 4 to Fly, CD Projekt Red Must Avoid a Cyberpunk 2077 Mistake
CD Projekt Red will kick off marketing campaigns for its next games when it’s really sure of the release date and will extend its campaign for slightly longer. However, fans can still expect some informal drops here and there, which can come in various forms.
If I ask you, what do you know about The Witcher 4? The answer is not much, probably – yes, there’s theories and so on. But there’s nothing really specific. So we want to drop the crumbs here and there so that people – and the media as well – can, you know, pick up on it and attempt to figure out what it is we’re trying to say this time.

Even though this might not sound like the biggest revelation, we can learn a couple of things from it. First, CD Projekt Red will releaseThe Witcher 4in just less than two years after it’s revealed.
Second, unlike Rockstar’s marketing strategy,The Witcher 4will drop occasional pieces of information rather than a full-blown reveal. It’s great that the studio cares about the franchise’s IP and wants to deliver a product that will blow everyone’s minds away.

The Witcher 4Has an Exciting Update
Currently, CD Projekt is developing multipleWitcherprojects. The most anticipated of them all is Project Polaris, which is set to be the next installment in the franchise.
“People are so easily upset over everything these days”: The Witcher 4’s Reported Deviation From Geralt Isn’t Going Over Well
The studio’s game director, Sebastian Kalemba, has revealed thatThe Witcher 4has finally hit full-scale production. According to him, there are new challenges right around the corner, and players can expect more news soon.
I’m thrilled to announce that Project Polaris has entered the full-scale production phase! With new challenges just around the corner, it’s the talented and hard-working people who make me believe we can together make the upcoming Witcher Saga a remarkable experience. The fact that the upcomingWitchergame has just entered full-scale production means that it won’t be hitting the shelves in 2025 like the rumors had suggested. A few weeks ago,a few in the community came across a placeholderpage for the title on GOG.com, revealing that it would be released on December 31st, 2025.
When considering what happened withCyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red will likely wait till the game is polished, so a 2025 release date was always unlikely. It seems like the development for the game is going smoothly so far, so we’ll most probably learn more about it in the upcoming months.
