We see many talented cosplayers grace the screens here at DualShockers fromThe Witcher 3’sCiritoFinal Fantasy VII Remake’sTifa Lockhart. But being a big fan ofTLOU, I always love to see cosplayers morphing into a character from the beloved series. You may think that Ellie wouldn’t be the hardest character to become given that she has the attire of a homeless person but polish cosplayer Anna Kopel captures Ellie’s essence beautifully in her latest quest.

Anocosplay, as she is known onInstagram, showcases her love for all thingsThe Last of Us Part 2as she takes on the complex persona of Ellie. As many cosplayers know, sometimes it isn’t just the clothes that make it great especially when posing for the camera. As seen in the still below, Anna recreates the workbench scene fromThe Last of Us Part 2’s gameplay trailer in which Ellie uses to maintain and upgrade her weapons. The photograph is dripping in atmospheric details and it actually looks like it’s been pulled straight from the game itself.

In another picture, which you can view below, we see Anna’s hand holding a bloodstained knife with Dina’s bracelet dangling from her wrist and Ellie’s now iconic fern tattoo running down her forearm. As the anticipation grows for Naughty Dog’s PS4 exclusive (87 days, in fact) so hasTLOUcommunity and it’s especially amazing to see how many cosplayers there are that are willing to show off their outstanding work in the run-up to its release. Naughty Dog directorNeil Druckmann saidin a recent tweet that he is looking to “make fans proud.” and I’ve no doubt at all that fans will fall in love all over again.
