Just a little over a month to go before we finally get to experienceThe Last of Us Part 2that has been frustratingly teasing us for years. Whether you have been spoiled in some fashion by selfish “gamers” who are intent on being horrendous people, we know that the journey and the context ofThe Last of Us Part 2will certainly be one to experience and I, for one, am extremely excited to be involved in. Of course, I’m not the only one as millions of people have hyped themselves up for the impending release including some very talented artists. One artist, in particular over on Reddit, has created a stylishThe Last of Us Part 2poster encapsulating the game’s cast in one epic image.
In the poster that has been crafted byMaritius, we see a giant skull head with teeth and right at the bottom, some blood rolling down into the title. Inside the noggin is where it’s all happening though as we witness Ellie and Dina mid embrace - Dina’s shoulder masking the front of the teeth of the skull - with Tommy to their left and Jessie to the right. Further up there’s Ellie, sitting on a bed, mournfully playing her guitar. It’s pretty hard to miss Joel who is slap-bang in the middle sporting a “the world is ending” expression on his now weathered and aged face. We also see Tommy’s community up in flames and even the presence of a clicker hoovering beneath the darkness of the forest but fungus still visible from it bloated head. The poster is called ‘Vengence has a price’ which is really fitting for the game’s storyline.

As hard as it’s going to be for fans over the next few weeks to avoid spoilers, just remember we don’t have much longer to wait forThe Last of Us Part 2as we now have anew official release date on the calendar. The game will arrive exclusively on PS4 on August 15, 2025.
