Gley is arguably the toughest Ultimate Descendant to obtain inThe First Descendant, thanks to brutal drop rates.
you may quickly take down most bosses with Gley with the right build, and she has uses throughout the entire game. She’s a complex character, so let me explain everything you need to know.

What is the difference between Gley and Ultimate Gley?
Appearances aside, the main difference between Ultimate Descendants and their regular counterparts is the former can use exclusiveTranscendent Modules. Fortunately, Gley’s best Transcendent Module doesn’t have this restriction, making regular Gley a viable option.
Ultimate Descendants also havehigher base statsthan usual. Oddly enough, this difference is particularly large for Gley, and the Ultimate variant has a sizable amount of extra DEF.

Regular Gley can still tackle all contentin the game, but the difference is noticeable in end-game activities.

Where to get the most bang for your buck.
Ultimate Gley Descendant Build
Ultimate Gley is a versatile Descendant with a complicated kit. That said, I’ve used her more than any other character in the game, and she’s my go-to boss killer.
While you can make a cute mobbing build based around herLife Siphonability, it’s pretty dreadful compared to the likes of anything Bunny, Valby, and Freyna can do. I see no point in recommending a sub-par build, so we’re focusing on a high-damage weapon setup instead.

The build relies on a single ability while Gley is in her Frenzied state. You cantoggle state at any timewith her “Frenzied” ability, and you always know you’re Frenzied as Gley’s hair stands up and goes white.
Keep in mind thatyou take more damage while in a Frenzied state, so you should switch if you receive heavy damage. You can also use “Increased Sensory” while non-frenzied for a 30% movement speed bonus.

Here are the modules I recommend using:
Effect at Max Rank
Massive Sanguification
Augments Life Siphon to absorb Life Spheres during Non-Frenzied state.
Multi-Maneuvering
Grants 3 Grapple charges instead of 2. Slightly reduced range and increases cooldown.
Increased HP
Max HP +218.5%
Stim Accelerant
Max HP +234%, Max MP -15%
Shield Conversion (DEF)
DEF +166.8%, Max Shield -36.5%
HP Collector
Instantly recover 9% HP when defeating an enemy. The effect has a 2-second cooldown.
Nimble Fingers
Skill Cooldown -25.6%
MP Conversion
Skill Cooldown -36.5%, Max MP -15%
Skill Extension
Skill Duration +36.5%
Maximize Duration
Skill Duration +40%, Skill Power Modifier -21.1%
Focus on Dimension
Dimension Skill Power Modifier +68.2%, Skill Cooldown -6.1%
Focus on Non-Attribute
Non-Attribute Skill Power Modifier +77.2%, Skill Cooldown -6.1%
Gley can’t use Shields, and we use this quirk to our advantage withShield Conversionfor a massive DEF boost. We also useIncreased HP, Stim Accelerant, and HP Collectorto round off our survivability Mods. Seriously, Ultimate Gley is a monster with these Modules. Mine has 34K DEF and 25K HP, which is plenty, even with sloppy play.
Next, we focus on Cooldown and Duration withNimble Fingers, MP Conversion, Skill Extension, and Maximize Duration.

We invest so heavily in Cooldown Reduction to “loop” Gley’s Frenzied Increased Sensory ability. Increased Sensory grants infinite ammo while it’s active. The idea behind the build is for the ability to become available again before the effect runs out.
We useFocus on Dimension and Non-Attributeas they both give even more Skill Cooldown. The power boosts also mean we could use Ultimate Gley’s Massacre if we want to.
It sounds more complicated than it is, but if we nail the cooldowns, we caninfinitely fire a weapon by recasting Increased Sensorywithout ever using a single bullet.
Unfortunately, we can’t get the required cooldown with just Modules and must rely on our Reactor to do some heavy lifting.
Best Reactor for Ultimate Gley in The First Descendant
I hate Reactor farming as much as you do, but it’s not too bad for Gley. In fact, it doesn’t even matter what Element or Mounting your Reactor has unless you’re using a Massacre build. All we care about are the sub-stats.
The God Roll for your Reactor is a decent stat forSkill Cooldown. Ideally, you want this in Gold rarity for increased effectiveness, but Purple should be fine.
I’m chasing GoldSkill Durationas my secondary stat, but I haven’t gotten it yet. If you want to min-max, that’s what you need.
Best Weapons for Ultimate Gley in The First Descendant
You can do some crazy things with Gley’s Weapon Platform build, and I highly recommend pairing it withthe Executor Shotgun. The Executor has a unique ability that boosts its critical rate upon consecutive hits.
A lousy magazine size balances the ability, but this doesn’t bother Gley with her infinite ammo. you may delete bosses in seconds with the Weapon Platform build combined with the Executioner.
It’s so powerful that I comfortably solo most bosses in the game, including the hard mode Collosi.
The Executioner is arguably “best in slot,” but you can have fun withGreg’s Reversed Fateand its orbital barrages.
Ultimate Gley makesthe best guns in the gameeven better, and she’sthe best Descendantto test out weird weapon tech.
