During the first episode of The Eminence In Shadow Season 1, fans are introduced to Akane Nishino. Although she is a well-known actress who looks cheerful and friendly on the outside, on the inside, she has a completely opposite personality. Akane’s reason for despising everyone is one of her fans, who kidnapped her and molested her. Out of all her classmates, she hates Minoru Kageno the most, as he doesn’t show any interest in her.
While Nishino is on her way home after school, she gets kidnapped and Kageno notices it happening. He then disguises himself as a masked vigilante, but soon the kidnappers realize that he is the deadly assailant, Balaclava Berserker. He defeats the kidnappers and saves Nishino, and a few days after this incident, Kageno dies in an accident. He now finds himself reincarnated into a new world with magic, where he still dreams of controlling society.
