Thankfully, the worries seemed to be unnecessary, asSpace Marine 2has proven to be a proper tribute to the legendary franchise, a worthy successor to the original. The sequel’s success can be attributed to a range of new additions and features, but one of them has left its mark on the gaming community.

What’s even more shocking is that Saber snatched this one right from the hands ofThe First Descendantand elevated it to the absolute next level.

Well, if you’re unaware,Space Marine 2‘s large-scale PvE mode takes cues fromanother smash hit of the year,The First Descendant. Developer Nexon Games brings a similar mode to its title, where players must work together in teams of up to four to fend off invaders and protect the Ingris continent. The game nailed the feature and set a path for other developers to follow.

However,Space Marine 2cranked the feature to the extreme and allowed gamers to feel immersed in the galaxy-wide conflict with the Tryanids.
