Each Maximus Cup brings a new reward toTetris 99. Most of the time, it’sa new themeforhit gameslikePokemon Sword and ShieldorLuigi’s Mansion 3. However, several have also rewarded the top 999 players with 999 My Nintendo Gold Points. The latter is a bit more competitive as only a select few are able to win anything. Granted, you still have to compete to earn the theme, but anyone who clears the 100-point threshold gets the theme. It’s a gentler approach to competitiveTetris.
