According to what an anonymous executive producer from the saga shared with Chris Parry, not only did Snipes reportedly“treat us all like idiots,”but he didn’t even talk to his co-stars face-to-face and instead had his assistant do it.

“I mean, I never stopped. I was just pestering him like a gnat over the last many years. I actually just think… I believe in timing … and I think he was ready.”
