The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdomoffers a massive open world for players to explore, full of many side quests to help out the residents of Hyrule. Completing side quests are easy ways to help players see more of the world, find new items, or be rewarded with new recipes or potion ideas.

Upon arriving at Kakariko Village and trying to stay at the Inn, you’ll first be charged the outrageous price of 10,000 Rupees. You’ll quickly be told this is a joke and that the actual innkeeper is away and has yet to return. Link will then be tasked with finding the innkeeper to get them back to their station.
Finding The Inn Keeper
The only hint you’ll be given to find the innkeeper is that they were making beds for the excavationteams investigating the Ring Ruins located around the town. There are multiple elevated areas that have tents on them, and you’ll need to investigate each one to find where the innkeeper is. You’ll have toclimb up the different ladder systems or climb the actual mountainsaround the town to locate each of the excavation teams' locations.
For those looking for the more direct route, the innkeeper is found sleeping on a stone slab at thecoordinates 1739, -0901, 0199. To reach them, you’ll need tohead to the entrance to the Ring Ruins(and can be reached beforebeginning the quest for the Ring Ruins), which is located off during the majority of the game, andclimb the mountain to the left side of the door. Keep climbing and get on the wooden platforms to find where the innkeeper is sleeping, needing to be woken up.

Waking Up The Innkeeper
The innkeeper will be found in a deep sleep, muttering aboutHearty Truffles, which just happens to be the only thing that can wake them up. If you have a Hearty Truffle in your inventory,simply throw or place a Hearty Truffle near the sleeping innkeeperto let the smell wake them up. After the innkeeper awakens, return to the Inn to complete the quest.
Forthose in need of a Hearty Truffle, they are foundnear the entrances to caves in many of the major regions throughout the game. One cave that provides an easy Hearty Truffle to be used for this quest is located in the northwestern section of the map,near the Hebra West Summit, coordinates -4041, 2670, 0024.This cave is located in the southern section of the secret hot spring, and the Hearty Truffle is found on the left side near the entrance to the cave.
