Elon Musk has always been a big-time gamer and a huge fan of online RPG games likePath of Exile 2andDiablo 4; however, a recent controversy seems to have erupted concerning Musk boosting his account in these games to stay among the top most players in the world.

Now it is also fair to mention that Musk is a good gamer with the desired skills to do well in games likePoE2andDiablo 4; however, he has accepted that he did boost his accounts for reasons that seem justifiable from his perspective.
Elon Musk does indeed boost his account on PoE 2 and Diablo 4
Elon Musk does not feel that he did the worst thing by boosting his account in these games since he believes it is the only way to compete with Asian players who are also doing the very same thing he seems to be guilty of.
Having said that, it is also fair to mention that Musk did not go out of his way to hide the fact that he did boost his account. He openly accepts he did, which seems to be a bold move, and also justifies that he does not feel any guilt over it.

Path of Exile 2 Has Multiple Major Flaws the Devs Had Already Addressed in the Previous Game
However, in the gaming community, the same is looked down upon; it gives a picture that the person is not skilled enough to scale their account to the very top, which is why they have to take external help to excel in the game. In a video shared byNikoWrexon YouTube, he reveals the conversation he had with Musk regarding the same. Hesaid:
I can honestly say with me at least that he has been openly honest about RMT in Diablo I as well as POE2. Now again, this is not condoning the practice; I am just simply trying to bring some clarity of the situation.

There are a lot of assumptions that Elon had plans or was going to take credit for all of these things and that he was intentionally deceiving people. Well, in my opinion, that’s just simply not the case, and from my own personal experience, that’s just simply not the case.
There area lot of players out there who condone this behavior, especially in thePath of Exilecommunity, and Musk does not seem to have a big problem with it, and neither does Niko.

There is nothing wrong with being competitive
Well, Musk is an extremely competitive player, and this is largely why he opts to boost his account to stay at the top of the charts. He is a hardcore gamer and gives a lot of hours to this passion of his.

It is also fair to mention that there are a million other things that he needs to take care of, andhis skills as a gamer have gotten rusty over the years. He used to be a greatQuakeplayer back in the day, but now he does not seem to perform on the same level.
Competitive gaming is extremely difficult, and if you are someone who feels boosting your account would enable you to feel better, then by all means take that path; however, the contrary opinion of this act being morally wrong is also a valid point.
