It may not be as farfetched to assume that the Super Soldier Serum may not just be for enhancing Rogers on the surface. Instead, to guarantee his efficiency in the U.S. military, the serum must have sharpened his intellect as well as wit.

Captain America Fanatics Need to See This Theory That Proves Only Iron Man Could’ve Done the Snap in Endgame, Not Steve Rogers

This is one of those theories that can be easily distinguished by carefully observing the character and his traits. Though Rogers was initially a kind-hearted and good-will civilian, he lacked the mental proficiency that Captain America later showcased.
