Redemption Reapersis a tactical RPG in development by Adglobe and from publisher Binary Haze. The Japanese developer’s new title is planned to release on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC in February 2023.
Adglobe released an announcement trailer, giving players a peek into what to expect from the medieval fantasy game. In Redemption Reapers, players take control of the Ashen Hawk Brigade, a cunning band formerly known as the Faithless Reapers, to fight against the invading Mort legions. Set in a medieval world packed with desperate stories, the Ashen Hawk Brigade represents the last hope of their nation. Players must manage limited resources and coordinate attacks during combat. They will unlock special skills, combine them to create devastating combos, and repair items and weapons to survive against all odds.

This developer/publisher combination previously collaborated on Ender Lilies Quietus of The Knights, an action RPG that was released in June 2021. Redemption Reapers is being created by Masayuki Horikawa, an industry veteran best known for his work on theFire Emblemseries as director and writer. Moreover, the game’s voice cast includes a star-studded roster, includingPersona 5’s David Loge,Apex Legends' Allegra Clark, and Kyle McCarley fromNieR: Automata.
CEO of Binary Haze Interactive, Hiroyuki Kobayashi, went on to describe the nature of Redemption Reapers in a press release: “Following the success of Ender Lilies, we aimed to approach a new genre ideal for sharing our love of dark fantasy stories. Redemption Reapers‘ tactical RPG combat and emotional storytelling combine for a memorable experience we cannot wait to share with the world in early 2023.”
Redemption Reapers will be released for Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC at an unspecified time in 2023.
