GTA 6is the most highly anticipated game of all time but it seems like Rockstar Games will stick to its ways and prioritize the launch on consoles followed by a port on PC some time later. Despite being a more powerful platform, PC players are gonna have to wait for quite a while.

GTA 6 is expected to release sometime next year on the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.

The game is expected to be released next year around the fall and the gaming community is beyond excited to play it. The developers started a decade-long trend where it involves porting their games to PC much later and players should consider grabbing a console while they wait.

PC Players Are Skeptical About a Day One Port of GTA 6

The gaming community has been waiting for this game for the last decade and their worries can be put to rest now thatRockstar Games revealed an official release window, making the following year an epic year for triple-A gaming if players are on console platforms like the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Players expect it to be released on PC with a catch that isn’t surprising.

It may be upsetting but the fans shouldn’t be disappointed, it has been a tradition for Rockstar Games to release its games on PC at a much later date than on console. The timing of the release could bethe perfect window to release the rumored PlayStation 5 Promodel which could be the best way to experience this game.

GTA 6 will probably look and perform better on PC but consoles are the only way to play it on day one.

However, some experts have claimed that the game may not perform the way that many have hoped and couldpotentially run at only 30 frames per second. It is all speculation at this point and there are still a few months till the release, a lot of things can happen in between and the developers could squash the problem that doesn’t even exist yet.

GTA 6 Will Probably Be Available on PC After a Few Months

Other games developed by Rockstar Games usually take a year before they will be ported to PC, and it may not be all it is cracked up to be for owners of powerful rigs if the game isn’t available immediately. This is one of the few disadvantages of not owning a console especially if developers are more focused on optimizing games on various platforms.

However, nothing in the game industry is always set in stone.Delays and game development come hand in handand despite it being the most highly anticipated game out there, it is still at risk of missing the release date and both PC and console players will still lose.

The game was in development for years and Rockstar Games feels the pressure of the gaming community breathing down its neck. Patience is a virtue that players should have learned by now and to give the developers the space they need.

It can be frustrating to wait even longer but that’s how it is and the developers are not breaking its tradition now. Rockstar Games has never fumbled and will not start with this project and the wait will be worth it on any platform.
