Storing Resources

The first and most important thing to do with resources is tostore them somewhere safe.Resources have all sorts of uses, and players won’t know what they need right away, making it important to hang onto all these resources until the day comes when they are needed. Instead of trying to carry them all, thebest place to store resources is on your ship, either in thecargo holdor in various storage chests within.

Storing resources in the cargo hold is the best option as thoseresources can be accessed in different menus that require materials when nearby or inside the ship, almost making it seem like the player is carrying them around. Variousspace habs offer lots of storage space that will be less organizedand in various chests, but it is still a useful option for storing tons of resources.

While something will only need to be researched once, completing a more complex research project willunlock better and more powerful uses for your resources.Upon getting a large sum of resources, visit a Research Station andcomplete all the projectspossible to build up your potential inventory for later in the game.
