Starfieldwas not the groundbreaking IP that Bethesda Game Studios was hoping it would be. Apart from the several issues at the launch, players who had waited for the game for a long time didn’t find it interesting. The game did get generally favorable reviews, but it slowly lost many players.
The upcomingStarfieldDLC,Shattered Space, will add more content to the game. While it will add to the exploration and keep players engaged, there is one quite terrifying quest in the game that seems unfinished, and developers can work on it properly this time.

One player asked the community about the“creepy sound”they had heard in Akila City. Fans told the player that the sound is from a ship. The players explained the story behind it and said that the crew onboard the ship was dead.
If players board the ship, notes are telling them that it’s a haunted ship called the Pale Lady and has been resold. The player found that the sound was from that atmosphere. One player said that they came across the ship on NG+, and it was truly creepy.

They said there were no sounds other than the players’ footsteps, but they could hear other sounds from the ship. They said that the developers couldadd more things with the Shattered Space DLCto make this better. They stated that all the people on the ship should have been named, and players would have needed to go through some lore.

This would have helped them figure out what happened on the ship. The player also said that it would have been nice to know where the ship was from and where it was headed. This is not a quest, and players just come across the ship while exploring. The player added that it would have been nice if this was finished, saying that there could have been an extra side mission.
This Ship Has Gave Many Players Sleepless Nights
However, players are well creeped out because of this, and it needs to be finished as there is nothing much for them to do. Several players replied to the OP and said that they too have come across the ship, and it is very creepy. One player said,“That’s possibly one of the most frightening audio glitches you could get from an in-universe perspective.”
They added that they ran out of the ship as fast as they could and had never done this in a game in their life. They further added,“This is a guy who grew up on Silent Hill and Resident Evil. Probably my favorite segment in the entirety of Starfield.”
Many other fans have also said that they would be“Outta the ship”as soon as they’d get on it, and some said they would just turn the game off. While this has players scared, maybe having it as a quest would see players spend more time on the ship, and the rewards would make it worthwhile.
