While there’s still no word on an official release date for the last-gen version of Jedi: Survivor, an official rating means that some sort of news could be on the way.

News of a last-gen version of Jedi: Survivor first surfaced back in 2023 when EA’s CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed the release during a quarterly earnings call. “Thanks to the strength of this legendary franchise and community demand, our development team has committed to bringing this Jedi experience to PS4 and Xbox One,” Wilson said during the call (transcribed byVGC).
But fans are questioning EA’s decision to release Jedi: Survivor on older hardware after its somewhat disastrous launch of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC back in 2023. While we still gave the game animpressive score of 8.9 out of 10, our reviewer Jeff Brooks said Survivor “offers a deep story, thrilling combat, and exciting exploration” but was dragged down by technical issues.
