That being said, there are ways to get rid of Crime Stat and avoid getting into prison. Some of them require you to pay a significant amount of money, and some other needs courage. Here, we will go over every possible way to wipe Crime Stat.

If you have a Crime Stat Level 1 or 2, you can avoid getting into prison by simply paying the fines for the crimes you have committed. In order to pay fines, you need to head to a Fines and Citation System terminal, which can be found at any major city’s checkpoints. There is also one inGrim Hex.

This terminal features a white screen and top of the terminal you can spot a holographic scale, as a sign of justice. If you interact with the terminal and log in, you will see the amount of fine you need to pay to wipe your Crime Stat.

The Fines and Citation terminal in Grim Hex is located in the Main Concourse, which can be accessed via elevators in front of the Fleet Manager terminals. Once you get off the elevator, head upstairs to the second level, and you should be able to see a Fines terminal on top of the stairs.

Go To Prison

Well, people usually want to wipe Crime Stat to avoid doing time, but if you want to do everything in the right way, you should stay in prison for the duration of your sentence, which can be from 10 minutes to so many hours.

Hack Security Post Kareah

How about wiping crimes with crimes? As much exciting as it may sound, hacking your criminal records in Security Post Kareah is quite a difficult mission to complete with serious consequences. But if you are ready for this, here is the way.

Before starting the mission, you need to get a Cryptokey. There are multiple models of Cryptokey, but Grim Hex features an affordable one called Tigerclaw. Head to Main Concourse in Grim Hex. Once you get off the elevator, head to the corridor on the left with a small door. You should be able to see a white arrow on the wall, which shows you to way. Follow the path until you reach a door with a number of screens next to it. Get inside, and you should be able to see a number of electronic devices called Tigerclaw behind a vitrine. Purchase one and leave Grim Hex.

Star Citizen Klescher

Security Post Kareah is an outpost revolving around Cellin, a moon of Crusader. As soon as you are within 15 KM of Kareah, you will be spotted as a trespasser, even if you don’t have a Crime Stat. After a brief warning, the drones around the outpost will start to shoot missiles at you. Although the outpost features multiple landing pads, it is almost impossible to survive. The Best case scenario is your ship will be destroyed after you get off.

You have two options here. If you have a group, you need to destroy the drones around Security Post Kareah to safely land and infiltrate the outpost, but that will take longer, and you have to deal with reinforced units and Bounty Hunter players, as any assault on Security Post Kareah will appear as a Bounty Hunting mission for lawful players.

However, if you are alone or prefer the more peaceful way, you need to farewell with your ship. Once you are within 20 KM of the outpost, set your cruise control at the highest velocity and point the steering towards Kareah. If it’s a big ship you need to stand next to the exit ramp and get out before you hit the outpost, but if it’s a smaller ship, just wait and then eject when you are close enough. Hopefully, none of the drones can hit a criminal solely floating in the air.

Now, you need to use your suit’s air pushers to get to the drop pads. Keep in mind that guards will be patrolling on drop pads. So, you need to land in a safe place. After landing, head towards one of the doors and get inside the outpost. There will be a lot of armed enemies inside, which is why we suggest you grab a lot of ammo. If it’s possible for you, equip a machine gun or an SMG with a larger magazine.

Crime Stat 1

The guards inside Security Post Kareah have charging shotguns, which can easily one-shot you. So, avoid close-quarter combat. Kareah has a pretty complex building, but you need to look for a big hall with a bunch of terminals and computers in the middle. There are also a number of balconies overlooking this area. In the middle of this room, there is a big terminal called Imperial Criminal Database. This is the device you need to hack with your Cryptokey.

Once you reach the terminal, equip your Cryptokey and then interact with the small port beneath the terminal’s screen. The Cryptokey will start hacking into the database, but it will take some time. In the meantime, you need to kill respawning guards. Some of them may shoot at you from balconies.

As soon as the hacking process is finished, a Login button will appear on the screen. Press it, and the terminal will show all the crimes you have committed so far. Now, you need to click on “Dismiss” for every crime and then click on Wrongful Arrest or Settlement Reached to erase it. You need to do it for each crime one by one, and it will take longer based on your criminal activities. You are advised to erase “Homicides” first.

As you clear your crimes, you will realize that your Crime Stat levels are decreasing. Once you clear all crimes, you will lose your Crime Stat, but since you are still a trespasser, you shouldn’t die.

If you have already killed the drones, you can head outside, hop on your ship, and leave. However, if you have no ships available, you need to leave the outpost on foot. So, move outside towards the pads and jump off a pad. As long as you have a “Trespassing” warning on the screen, you should move away from Kareah. Once the warning is wiped, you are free to ask someone to pick you up midair. Or, you can simply hold backspace to die and respawn. Since you have no Crime Stat, you won’t be in jail after waking up.

Keep in mind that if you die before wiping your Crime Stat inside Kareah, you will be sent to jail with a sentence that could take as long as 20 hours to be lifted.
