Looking to get all the trophies and achievements in the game? Then you’ll need to track down all theSpace Marine 2dataslates as well! While the game is focused on Titus and his story, theWarhammer 40Kuniverse is wide, and there are many tales to discover.
There are a total of 35 dataslates split between the campaign missions and operation missions. Finding these collectibles will uncover new lore regarding the Space Marines. If you’re having difficulty tracking the campaign dataslates, we’ve got you covered with a mission-wise breakdown for each collectible!
1.Skyfire Dataslates
Dataslate #1: Stormtalon Crash
The first dataslate in the game can be found right at the start of the mission. Look to the left when you spot two explosive plants; there will be a small path between them. Shoot one for good measure and follow the path; you’ll find the first slate of the mission.
Dataslate #2: Admission of Desertion
The second dataslate of the mission can be found when the player comes across a broken wooden bridge. Cross over to the side with a wooden tower and run past the tower, keeping it to your right. From here, you’ll be able to drop down into the swampy area below. Just a few steps ahead of where you drop down, you’ll find the second dataslate at the base of some tree roots.

Dataslate #3: Anti-Tyranid Offensive
After defeating the room filled with Xenos,made easier if you choose to play as a Heavy classwith lots of bullets, make your way through the narrow hallways until you see a large staircase ahead of you. Before you move into the room on your right with the huge backlit fan, head up the stairs, and you’ll be able to pick up the second last dataslate of the mission.
Dataslate #4: Desired Purgation of Data
The final dataslate of the first mission can be found behind the elevator, which takes you up to the satellite dish. Simply go around the supports of the elevator towards the right side, and you’ll come by this collectible sitting at the base of some railings.
2.Severance Dataslates
Dataslate #1: Conflict, Adeptus Astartes/Tyranid
In the second mission, you’ll come across a base in the image above. To the right, you’ll find an incline that becomes a path leading to the left of the camp. Follow this path, and you’ll spot an abandoned tank. Deal with some of the Tyranids that attack you as you approach the tank, and you’ll find this dataslate behind it.
Dataslate #2: Tyranid Attack, Designation: Rippers
The second dataslate in the mission can be found after reaching the Adeptus Mechanicus facility. You’ll spot some glowing red lights attached to machines. Head to the one in the back of the entrance room that’s most covered in shadow. You’ll find the collectible on the right side of this light.
Dataslate #3: Lamentation for Sacred Machines
Be careful not to miss out on this one, as it requires a bit more exploration than the previous ones to get. During your journey through the base, you’ll enter a room with an unmarked console. Interact with it and then deal with the Tyranids that pop out of the now-opened door.They shouldn’t be difficult for even the Tactical classes to deal with, and then you can find the dataslate to the right after entering this newly opened room.
Dataslate #4: Summary, Tyranid Invasion
The last one for this mission is another that you might just pass by without much thought. You’ll come across a cave opening after leaving the facility, and you’ll finally get access to the jetpack. Now, the collectibles can be on the vertical axis as well, as you’ll need to use your thrusters to get up onto the ledge on your left and find the last dataslate of this mission.
3. Machinus Divinitus Dataslates
Dataslate #1: Attempted Liturgy for Burnt Capacitor
This dataslate is easy enough to find but may be passed up if you’re rushing through the mission. You’ll reach a point where you must wait for a bridge to extend to allow you to continue. Once the bridge is in place, cross and turn left at the end of the bridge. Follow this path, drop through the broken guardrails onto the roof, and you’ll find the first of theSpace Marine 2dataslates a couple of steps ahead.
Dataslate #2: Termination: 1D1D1D-S
While walking through the corridors of the facility, you’ll notice a Tyranid silhouette at the end of the hallway. Turn right when you reach the end of the hallway, and you’ll see an altar with some candles. Take a right from the candles and then the immediate left. Continue in this room, and you’ll find this slate beside a body.

Dataslate #3: Improper Command
The final collectible can be found after dealing with some Tyranids blocking a door. This is right after the battle with the Carnifex. Go up the ramp, take a right, and then a left. Players will find a room with an interactable console on the left and a corridor leading further down ahead of them. Follow the corridor, turn right, and the last of theSpace Marine 2dataslates of this mission should be right there for the taking.
4. Servant of the Machine Dataslates
Dataslate #1: Cannon Maintenance, 1.002.81
There are only two to be found in this mission, and the first can be found by the first elevator you initiate. Take a left, and you’ll see the elevator shaft ahead of you and a hole in the floor to your right. Approach the elevator path and turn to the left; the slate is sitting in the corner.
Dataslate #2: Tithe Collection, Avarax
This slate can be found after you meet up with Chairon and you’re working your way to the Temple of Thassean. You’ll come across an open gate. Walk ahead of this gate and look to your left; the slate is hidden in the alcove and is easy to miss due to the architecture of the doorway.

Voidsong Dataslates
Dataslate #1: Potential Heresy, Adeptus Astra Telepathica, 2287.8
After following the tank that breaks through the door, you’ll reach a room that requires power. When you come across a resupply drop, you’ll know you’re on the right path. Run past the drop and turn left; you’ll find thisSpace Marine 2dataslates on a table.
Dataslate #2: Potential Heresy, Adeptus Astra Telepathica, 2288.2
Once you jetpack through some doors, you’ll reach a smoky area, which will disable your jetpack if you go too far. There will be another resupply cache, and right in front of this cache will be a ledge. Use your jetpack to get to the top of this initial ledge and find one of the hiddenSpace Marine 2dataslates on a table.
Dataslate #3: Potential Heresy, Adeptus Astra Telepathica, 2289.5
Finding this slate is easy thanks to the massive mound of burning bodies acting as a landmark. As you head down the stairs to this room, hit a sharp right and keep turning. You’ll spot the slate tucked into a corner by some boxes and metal ramparts.
6. Dawn’s Descent Dataslates
Dataslate #1: Effects of Noctilith Exposure
The first dataslate in this beautiful mission can be found right at the entrance of the floating church. Jetpack over some of the levitating platforms and then go to the left of the entrance. Walk through some tombstones that crumble beneath your feet, and the slate is lying on the ground at the very back.
Space Marine 2 Multiplayer Guide: How to Dominate With the Bulwark Class
Dataslate #2: Tomb Excavation, Analog Backup, Log 8.6
The second in this mission can be found after descending the set of steps to what appears to be a town square with some structures. Stick to the left and keep going forward until you come across a downhill slope, with an uphill path on the right. Go down this slope, and the slate will be at the end of the path by a candlelit altar.
Dataslate #3: Tomb Excavation, Analog Backup, Log 8.7
After destroying the Eye Altar, approach the two pillars and then take a left. Follow this path for a bit, and you’ll find this slate on the ground of the broken platform in the dark.
Dataslate #4: Tomb Excavation, Analog Backup, Log 9.9
As you advance to the Aurora, you’ll come across an instance where you must move a yellow blockade. After this, you’ll have to take down some heretics and push forward. When you see these two blue arches, walk between them and head towards the scrapped ship in the back. The last of theSpace Marine 2dataslates in this mission will be found next to a body by this ship.
7. Bellum Sempiternus Dataslates
Dataslate #1: Effects of Warp Exposure
verify to grab all three dataslates in this mission before completion, as this mission isn’t available from the Battle Barge! The first can be found after you walk past some Marines and drop down into a small room. Take a right near the exit, and you’ll find this slate next to a Marine that’s not clearly not well.
Dataslate #2: Burial, Adeptus Astartes, Salamander Chapter
The second last slate of the game can be found on the left side at the very back of the burial chamber. Walk past the grave in the center of the room, up the stairs leading to a door, and hang a left. You’ll find one of thefinal Space Marine 2dataslates in the left corner by a candlelit altar.
Dataslate #3: Amount of Deceased on Demerium
The last slate in the game can be found after the second Obelisk key has been turned. Walk through the doorway with crystals on either side and take a right turn around some rubble. The slate is tucked in this alcove.
