We just got our first look at some of the non-Sonic the Hedgehog characters coming to Sonic Racing CrossWorlds.

During Summer Game Fest, Sega released a new trailer for Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, giving us a fresh look at the gameplay, some pre-rendered cut scenes, and a few crossover characters players can expect to see in the game.

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Minecraft stage

All but one of the characters revealed will be included in the game’s base roster at launch, while the other is going to be available as part of the game’s season pass.

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds will be launching on September 25.

Miku, Like A Dragon, Persona, And… Minecraft?

The crossover characters shown in the trailer areHatsune Miku,Like A Dragon’s Ichiban Kasuga, andPersona 5’s Joker, each one coming with their own unique vehicle, be it a car or an Extreme Gear, and arepart of the game’s base roster, which is now stated to have “over 23 characters” according to the game’sofficial site.

Minecraft’s Steve was also revealed and will be one of six characters coming as part of the season pass, along with his own stage, with segments set in the overworld, the Nether, and the End, to go withits selection of Sonic-themed stages.

Untitled design (2)-1

Hopefully the inclusion of some more Sega characters suggests that there will be more coming to the game as well, like some who showed up in the Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing games, but the prospect of third-party guest characters is exciting as well, especially if some of the leaks about the game are to be believed.

Top 10 Like A Dragon Karaoke Songs

Even outside the franchise, these karaoke songs are absolute bangers.

Sega themselves have eventeased some other third-party charactersshowing up in Sonic Racing CrossWorlds.

Something interesting about this reveal is that it casts some doubt onthe leaks from a few days ago, or at least shows that plans have changed since the time of information in the leaks, which was all a few months old.

The leaker suggested that the Persona and Like A Dragon crossovers were not happening. The Minecraft and Hatsune Miku crossovers were included, but without any art, models, or footage, and Miku was supposedly coming to the game later on.

The SpongeBob, TMNT, and Avatar: The Last Airbender content in the leak, meanwhile, are nowhere to be seen.
