Solo Leveling’s popularity is rising after the manhwa was adapted into an anime. The story follows the journey of the weakest Hunter, Sung Jinwoo, who becomes the strongest Hunter in the world to fulfill a purpose. The webtoon became immensely popular, and fans were eagerly waiting for its anime adaptation.
Several fights in the webtoon will send shivers down the audience’s spine. As Sung Jinwoo leveled up, the fans got to know about all the ranks of the Hunter Association. The highest-rank hunters are known as National Level Hunters, and there are only five of them inSolo Leveling. Sung Jinwoo was the fifth hunter to reach that level. Who Are National Level Hunters?
According to the official database, National Level Hunters are hunters who can rival the military strength of an entire nation. During the mission to kill a dragon named Kamish, several S-Rank hunters perished. Ultimately, there were only five remaining hunters who slayed the massive beast. It was from there that the term ‘National Level Hunter’ was created.

5Siddharth Bachchan
Before Sung Jinwoo, there were only five National Level Hunters. Siddharth Bachchan was ranked fourth among them. He is the strongest hunter in India, but he was never revealed in the webtoon. Siddharth Bachchan can use Ruler’s Authority, a telekinetic power bestowed upon a hunter by one of the Rulers. Apart from that, his abilities include Spiritual Body and Manifestation. Since he was never shown, the true extent of his powers is still unknown.
4Christopher Reed
Christopher Reed is the strongest Hunter in America and is one of the surviving members of the Kamish Raid. Like Siddharth Bachchan, he had access to the Ruler’s Authority and Spiritual Body Manifestation. He was a muscular man with blue eyes. With his Spiritual Body Manifestation, he could turn into a one-eyed giant with flaming hair. Unfortunately, he was killed by three Monarchs in an off-screen battle, and the fans never got to see him in action.
3Liu Zhigang
Liu Zhigang is one of the strongest hunters in the world and falls under the category of National Level Hunters. He uses double swords and can use the Ruler’s Authority and Spiritual Body Manifestation. Liu Zhigang belonged to the Fighter class. He is a straightforward man and has showcased excellent fighting skills.

Sung Jinwoo is the strongest Hunter among the National Level Hunters. He is the Shadow Monarch and was able to defeat Thomas Andre with ease. He has the qualities of a necromancer, which allows him to raise an army of the strongest beings he has killed. There is no end to his abilities since he is the Shadow Monarch. Strength, speed, Shadow Extraction, Detoxification, Monarch’s Domain, etc. made him the strongest being inSolo Leveling. Even though he had to give his best to defeat the Dragon Monarch, others were not much of a challenge for him.
