With the release of Bloober Team’sSilent Hill 2 Remake, horror fans have been reliving the experience that showed not all spooks have to be the jumpscare variety. With tasteful changes to the original, the remake’s developer has made it so even veteran players have something new to experience.

By bringing the 2001 release to 2024, the team had to also implement some current-generation staples and one of them was to add Trophy and Achievement support to the title. It adds a new dimension when playing the game, and some of the trophies require you to thoroughly explore the world in order to PlatinumSilent Hill 2 Remake.
How Many Trophies Are There in Silent Hill 2 Remake?
While Trophies don’t count for anything other than bragging rights, they are a great motivator to truly squeeze everything out of a title. Whether it’s by using every weapon in the game, beating a certain number of enemies, or simply beating the story mode on the toughest difficulty, these achievements can become quite an obsession for many gamers, and the same is true forSilent Hill 2 Remake.
The game comes with a total of 44 Trophies. While some are unlocked organically by simply progressing through the story, others require a bit more exploration and can be missed entirely.

Will the Silent Hill 2 Remake Come to Xbox?
Unlike games likeDead Rising Deluxe Remasterwith its collectibles, there is no free-roam, chapter selection, or backtracking inSilent Hill 2 Remake. So, you may need more than two playthroughs to get that coveted Platinum.
While some games do have a requirement to play on a certain difficulty to unlock Trophies,Silent Hill 2 Remakeplaces no such restriction. You can get through the entire experience on ‘Light’ and still work towards the Platinum. You will need 2 full playthroughs to unlock all Trophies, and some partial ones to get all the endings.

With over 20 Trophies that you may miss out on without prior knowledge, it makes sense to have an understanding of where to look. While the Trophiesmay not be as difficult to find as the new guns inShattered Space, you will need to keep your eye out for certain items.
