And now, with the second part of the fifth season on its way to becoming the last in the main timeline of the franchise, Sheridan has announced another prequel spin-off series, titled1944, which will begin production soon. As for who we can expect in the series, it’s being rumored that Academy Award-winning actorMatthew McConaugheymight be the lead star in the upcoming series.
But now, new reports have suggested thatMichelle Pfeiffer,the three-time Oscar-nominated actress, is also being eyed for a major role in the proposed show.
