The entertainment industry is where glamour shines the most. While many celebrities do their best in their capabilities to look great, personalities like Gwen Stefani have continued to steal the spotlight despite her age. While she has cemented herself in the industry through her music, her youthful look is another aspect that has continued to keep her in the spotlight.

He toldThe Sun,

“Gwen looks to have spent around $100,000 on cosmetic procedures and tweakments, which means she won’t need a facelift in ten years time.”

Though her sensational look has nothing but elevated her influence in the entertainment world, he hoped that the rock star wouldn’t over-pursue it which could affect her negatively.

“But she’s at that inflection point where the motivation should be to look fabulous and age-appropriate, and while she looks good right now, I hope she doesn’t over-pursue and end up looking bizarre rather than great for her age.”

“She’s at that cusp and shouldn’t be wanting to look 40 forever and right now she already looks a decade younger than she is.”

He further added that Stefani looked “oddly swollen”in the past which he claimed could have been the result of facial tightening treatments like FaceTite. As to what the treatment is all about, the surgeon explained,

“Skin tightening is a procedure which tightens the face and where a little probe goes underneath the skin through a little puncture and it heats up the area under the skin to create tightening.”

The photos seemed to be of the time when she appeared in Season 22 ofThe Voicewhere her face looked quite swollen. However, rumors about the star going under the knife go back to as early as the 2000s when fans questioned her look.

While the singer has never addressed going under the knife to enhance her beauty and hiding her real age, fans have long speculated otherwise. Back in 2004, she told PEOPLE viaThe Sun,

“I’m hoping my children will save me from my vanity. If it doesn’t, plastic surgery is an option … It sucks to have to grow older. We all have to accept it.”

Meanwhile, in an interview withThe Telegraph, she admitted obsessing about how she is ageing.

“It’s really hard for everyone to age and have to face life. Especially for females and people who have been in the spotlight it can be daunting, but you tackle it by just trying to be the most beautiful version of yourself inside and out. People talking about my ageing is a compliment, I guess. I’m kind of obsessed with how I’m ageing, too.”

The singer has been rumored to have gone through a chin implant and a facelift, as well as Botox and fillers. However she has never admitted to any of these rumors.
