The world ofRemnant 2is filled to the brim with various passageways, optional boss fights, andunique puzzlesthat may stump players at first. These puzzles, like the Lament Dial Puzzle, are well worth the trouble, however, as the rewards more than make up for the heartache of trying to track down the solution amidst a slew of enemies.

Of all the puzzles in Remnant 2, the Lament Dial proves somewhat challenging for new players. It’s a tough one, with a maze of traps surrounding the entire main room, plus symbols tacked on to graves nearby to sort through. So, what is the code to the dial?
How To Solve The Lament Dial Puzzle
When players first arrive in the main room with the Lament Dial Puzzle, they’ll note the numerous coffins with symbols above each one.Each coffin includes a blanket-wrapped body, and there is yet another symbol above every coffin. However, these symbols are unique to the one inside the coffin, so take note.
The number one goal here is exploration. The Lament is quite sizable, with nooks and crannies to explore, and players must track down a book that will spawn in random locations throughout the area.This book proves essential as the first page includes a necessary symbol that one will not find on any of the coffins. Unfortunately, the color and symbol are entirely random and unique to the player’s game, so what was found by others will not be the same for most.
That said, finding the book’s location is more a matter of perseverance than anything else. Look around the dungeon, and it will show up near the actual dial.Once the book and its symbol are located, find the four blankets on the coffins that feature the same symbol from the book, then look above to find the required symbol for the dial puzzle.
With all four symbols in hand, return to the Lament Dial Puzzle and input all four symbols in any order. Again: The input order does not matter!
With the dial tuned correctly, a door ahead in the same room will open and reveal a helpful item. For many, it’s a ring. But the object itself varies depending on the instance.
