A brand newPUBGupdate arrived earlier today (November 2nd or 3rd depending on where you’re based), having previously been released exclusively for the PC Test Servers. It brings the game to version 14.2 with plenty of new features and changes.

If you playPUBG, you’ll be eager to know what’s included in update 14.2. So, here’s everything you need to know surrounding the October 2/3PUBGupdate, including the full patch notes.

What’s New In Update 14.2?

Patch 14.2 is quite a big one, as it includes two brand new weapons, plenty of changes, and even chickens! Full details can be found in the patch notes below, but here’s quick overview of the most important bits.

The first of the two weapons included in today’s update is the Mortar. A weapon that can be deployed on flat surfaces and fires explosive projectiles at your enemy.

Then there’s the M79 smoke grenade launcher that was reportedly designed to provide players with a quick smoke cover at longer ranges.

Patch 14.2 also includes a new DBNO swimming feature. Previously, a player who enters the DBNO while in the water would skip DBNO and instantly die, this is no longer the case.

Finally, and most importantly, 14.2 includes chickens. They don’t do much, apart from get angry when you go near them and die when you shoot them…obviously.

Full details for the November 2/3PUBGupdate can be found in the patch notes below.
