Pokemon Go Players Must Shell Out $7.99 to Obtain Zarude

Pokemon GOwill launch the Verdant Wonders Special Research event later this month on the 21st and fans are not one bit excited about it, being a pay-to-participate event. The event features the mythical feature Zarude, which debuted in the movie,Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungleback in 2021, and several rewards.

Players will need to purchase a ticket for $7.99 to get access and participate in the event, infuriating several players, and once purchased, the game must be played between the 21st and 25th of this month to get access to the Special Research event, after which the event can be completed at any time. With several limited editions of shiny Pokemons on offer for lucky players, one of the fans commented how it would have made some sense if they were made available for even $5. Another fan commented how gamers are exceedingly straying away from purchasing raid passes in the game, and that is one of the reasons for the event tickets being sold at a hefty premium.
