The game centers around a member of the Rescue Corps who is out looking for lost colleagues and Captain Olimar, a beloved character in the franchise.

The Normal Ending
The normal ending requires you to do absolutely nothing other than beat the game.There isn’t anything special you need to do in addition to completing the game to get this ending. If you follow the storyline, collectPikmin, and do everything you’re supposed to, this is the ending you will automatically get.This ending focuses on rescuing Captain Olimar and the other Rescue Corps members who were stranded on this unknown planet.Once you have administered the cure to everyone, they will all be able to go home and the credits will play and this will be the end of your adventure in the Pikmin universe.

The True Ending
If you sit through the credits, you will see Louie riding off into the sunset.However, once this happens, Oatchi will start to feel sick.This forces the crew to head back to the planet they were just on. They must find a cure for Oatchi before it is too late. This starts another main mission to cure Oatchi. If you turned the game off once the credits rolled, you would never see this final mission. Your goal is to cure Oatchi, and unfortunately, the cure you have already made doesn’t work.During this new mission, you willunlock two new areas, find more Castaways to save, treasure to collect, and Pikmin to use. This will also let you unlock all theOnionsand Farlics.Once you make it through the main mission, Oatchi will thankfully be cured. This allows everyone to leave the planet, safe and sound.
